Recovery Area

How you prepare and recover from exercise can be just as important as the exercise itself and that is why we have a dedicated Recovery Area featuring HYPERICE technology at the Waterside.

Included in your membership

Use of the Recovery Area and HYPERICE equipment is included in all membership packages, and with 'How to Guides' for each piece of equipment on display, it's really easy to get started.

HYPERICE is used by top athletes across the world to help improve performance and recover smarter. We also have HYPERICE specialists available, who regularly offer workshops (bookable on the Waterside App, Members' Online Portal and Reception) to help you get the most out the equipment. They can show you how to use the equipment and maximise your recovery time, their details are on display in the Recovery Area.

Normatec Compression System

A great addition to the Recovery Area for all members is the inclusive use of the Normatec Compression System, this revolutionary massage system takes your recovery to the next level. Every member is entitled to a free Normatec Induction. Inductions are bookable in all the usual ways, via the Waterside App under 'Recovery', the Members' Online Portal under 'Normatec Inductions/Sessions' or at Reception. Once you have completed your induction your booking permissions will be granted so that you can book a Normatec Session and use the system to relax, recover, improve circulation and overall wellbeing.

The use of Normatec on all other membership packages costs £15 per session (60 minutes), payable at the point of booking a Normatec Session.
